De directeur van het Centraal Nautisch Beheer Noordzeekanaalgebied, tevens (Rijks-) havenmeester, maakt het volgende bekend:
In verband met een tijdelijk verminderde waterafvoer als gevolg van een defecte pomp van het pomp/spuigemaal te IJmuiden, wordt vanaf 1 augustus 2020 tijdelijk vervangende pompcapaciteit bij de Kleine sluis aangebracht. Dit water wordt uit het Zuiderbinnen toeleidingskanaal in de Kleine sluis gepompt en vervolgens naar het Zuiderbuitenkanaal afgevoerd. Uit veiligheidsoverwegingen is daarom de Kleine sluis met ingang van 27 augustus 2020 07:00 uur tot nader order gestremd.

IJmuiden Small lock, closed until further notice

The director of the Central Nautical Management North Sea Canal Area, who is also the (State) Harbor Master, announces the following:
Due to a temporarily reduced water discharge as a result of a defective pump at the pump / sewage sluice in IJmuiden, temporary replacement pump capacity will be installed at the Small lock from 1 August 2020. This water is pumped from the Zuiderbinnentoeleidingskanaal into the Small lock and then transported to the Zuiderbuitenkanaal. For safety reasons, the Small lock will therefore be closed at 07:00 hours until further notice with effect from 27 August 2020.
